Hilary Clare is the e-commerce trading arm of Dunscar Garden Centre Limited. Accordingly, if you ring us on 01772 811111, do not be put off by the fact that we do not answer as Hilary Clare. Ask to be put through to the garden centre shop and one of our staff will do their best to help you. Out of trading hours we operate voicemail.
Orders
The products shown on this website are only a small sample of the range we have available for sale. For example, we stock several thousand plants. We are very happy to talk to customers over the telephone in order to ascertain their requirements. Just because a certain product is not shown on the website does not mean we do not stock that item. Even if an item is out of stock, we can, if possible, try to source the item.
Full receipts will normally be enclosed with your order. However, where items are despatched to a 3rd party address (eg gifts), we will send you the receipt separately..
Payment
We accept all major credit and debit cards and payment is taken at the time of your order. If you prefer to speak to us in person and place your order over the telephone, then please call one of our friendly staff on 01772 811111.
Cancellations and Alterations
Should you change your mind, we are quite happy to change or cancel your order, providing we have not already despatched your order. We advise you to call us immediately with your instructions.
Substitutions
Normally we will not offer substitutions. In the rare event that an item is out of stock or not fit for sale we will cancel the order, refund the payment and advise you. However, we do reserve the right to substitute plants with those of a similar quality should those originally ordered be unavailable or if we believe the quality is below our high standards.
Website Errors
In the unlikely event that a website error affects your order, we shall contact you before we process your order.
Complaints Procedure
We always aim to meet fully our customers’ high expectations. However, in the rare event that you are not happy with our service, we shall do everything we can to resolve the matter quickly and to your complete satisfaction. Please call us on 01772 811111 or email to dunscar@hilaryclare.com. All written complaints are brought to the attention of the senior management as a matter of course, whether resolved or not.
