UK Deliveries

We charge a normal rate of £2.99 for Royal Mail delivery and £5.99 for a Next Day courier service, charges may be more depending on location. All purchases totalling £30.00 or more qualify for free delivery and for orders received by noon local time on Mondays through to Fridays, we undertake to process and despatch them that same afternoon for delivery. As we are a working Garden Centre orders may take up to 1-2 working days to be processed before courier is arranged. Close to Christmas it may take us and the couriers longer to despatch and deliver your order

Generally our couriers will expect a signature on delivery of the item.  If you expect to be out (or when sending gifts you expect the recipient to be out) you can leave instructions for the item to be left with a neighbour).  However, we cannot take responsibility for non delivery of items where we have been requested to leave them without collecting a signature, eg in sheds.   If instructed, we are happy to delay despatch of items to a day of your choosing (eg. if you know you or the recipient will be out certain days) or to deliver gifts as close as possible to the date of a special occasion.

Large items of furniture requiring a 2 man lift will only be delivered by our own staff within our local delivery area (Lancashire, North Cheshire and North Merseyside).  Such items will be described as such.  If you are in doubt as to whether we can deliver to your address, then please ring us.

We charge a flat rate of £20 for all international orders under 2Kg within the EU. 2kg covers most items of giftware and country clothing and smaller Cookshop items. It does not cover heavier items such as pans. If you are interested in a heavier item then please contact us for a shipping price. We can also despatch items outside the EU and are happy to provide a quote if you e-mail us the item that you are interested in and the shipping destination.
